Pathnam Value For Students

Pathnam Value For Students

Pathnam is designed to enhance self-paced learning for a student outside the classroom; it helps them to acquire knowledge and skills through the tools and features that help them to maintain a structured and focused approach to studying their courses.

Pathnam helps students, through a set of alerts and notifications, to stick to learning schedules, as designed and developed by their teachers and mentors. This enables a structured and disciplined approach to the learning of each subject. Pathnam also helps them to complete work and reading for the lessons in an appropriate time frame.

Students can develop understanding of the subject via pre-recorded video sessions, book reading via PDF uploads, slide presentations or website content views. These are all organised in different lessons in a sequential and progressive manner for incremental and continuous self-learning.

To track learning in assigned classes,Pathnam has an assignment option that a student needs to complete to verify their self-learning journey. These assignments can be any combination of multiple-choice, short answer questions or long text answers for essay style reviews.

Students can review their progress through a Learning Progress Dashboard and Reports, giving them a thorough insight to their learning status and suggesting action items to improve upon.

Pathnam generates alerts and notifications for active events such as:

  • new assignments
  • lessons not completed within scheduled time
  • outstanding assignments to complete
  • feedback from teachers or mentors

to ensure students are able to focus their attention where it is most needed.

Students can have any questions clarified by a teacher through a discussion board on any subject and content. Discussions can be private or shared for whole-class improvement.

Beyond a traditional Learning Management System, institutions will be able to have complete records of each student’s monthly learning progress set against each subject. This provides records that can be analysed to draw informed decisions for future planning or intervention and keep a close eye on the learning process.

The Extended Learning Intranet is a next generation tool that our institutions have to encourage their faculties to meet the new challenges faced in the newer ways of learning.

This can have a significant financial effect for institutions and help to support their students in forging ahead in learning when compared to other institutions, both locally and globally.

Students can also use Pathnam to provide feedback on lessons and courses and give a rating to the teacher. This helps in creating a transparent and healthy learning ecosystem and allows senior leaders to identify areas for development.

Students are also to help enhance the subject content, design and flow and teaching process via participating in and creating surveys of individual subject and lesson contents. Feedback creates a self-sustaining learning ecosystem.

After completing all the lesson content and associated assignments, the students are directed to take a digitally secured preparatory and final assessment test online.
